DORDA is expanding another legal area by hiring an entire team of lawyers. With the experienced environmental lawyer Tatjana Katalan and her team, the law firm is gaining a highly esteemed expert. Katalan, previously an equity partner at E + H, has extensive experience in public commercial law, in particular in supporting large-scale projects and in EIA procedures, in renewable energies and infrastructure projects, as well as in the area of public and green compliance. This results in synergies with the firm's existing Sustainability and Construction and Infrastructure Groups. In the course of this, DORDA is also opening two offices in Graz and Klagenfurt in order to provide its clients in the southern region of Austria with even better service.

“We are very pleased to welcome Tatjana Katalan and her team to DORDA and to further expand our offering,” emphasizes Martin Brodey, Managing Partner. “Their expertise ideally complements our range of services and enables us to support our clients even more comprehensively in shaping the energy transition, in connection with infrastructure and other important future projects.” “In light of our growth strategy, we are open to lateral hires in addition to our strong internal growth. We are pleased to gain new perspectives through external hires.“ adds Axel Anderl, Managing Partner.

Francine Brogyányi, Managing Partner, emphasizes: ”Tatjana Katalan impressed us with her entrepreneurial approach and passion for building something. Her career path is an inspiration for young female lawyers. We are proud to have her in our team."

Katalan has made a name for herself as an expert in environmental law and has successfully supported numerous projects, including renewable energy projects for Kelag, Ecowind, Verbund and the Glock Group, as well as infrastructure projects for Energie Steiermark and Holding Graz.

After the very professional and transparent process, I am looking forward to the new challenge at DORDA,“ Katalan says. ”With its existing industry groups in the areas of sustainability, construction and infrastructure, the firm offers an excellent environment in which I can contribute my expertise and continue to grow and implement exciting projects together with a strong team."
