Tatjana Kataln

Tatjana Katalan, partner at DORDA since 2024, specializes in public commercial and regulatory law, with a strong focus on environmental and technical matters. She advises comprehensively on environmental and sustainability law, including EIA procedures, water law, nature conservation and construction and regional planning law, mining and forestry law. One of her main areas of expertise is advising on major projects, particularly in the field of renewable energy.  She also provides comprehensive advice on current regulations such as NIS2 and MiCAR. Her expertise also extends to specialized areas of law such as the GewO, professional law, pharmacy and hospital law. With her broad knowledge of industry-specific regulations, she offers practice-oriented solutions for complex challenges in a dynamic legal environment.

Tatjana Katalan is author of numerous specialist publications and a lecturer at renowned institutions such as the Austrian Real Estate Association and the Austrian Bar Academy. She is also a lecturer for administrative, energy and environmental law at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland.

Before joining DORDA, she worked at Eisenberger & Herzog Rechtsanwalts GmbH (now E+H Rechtsanwälte) for almost 20 years, 13 of which as a partner.
