DORDA Real Estate practice group, led by Stefan Artner, has successfully advised Deutsche Logistik Holding (DLH) Austria on the sale of Industrial Campus Vienna East, the largest logistics campus in Austria with 150,000 square meters. The final component, a logistics hall with over 35,000 square meters, was transferred to DEKA in July 2024.
The DORDA Real Estate team provided comprehensive support to DLH Austria over several years, assisting with the acquisition, construction, letting, and sale of the project development in the immediate vicinity of Vienna-Schwechat Airport. Industrial Campus Vienna East has attracted prominent tenants such as Hornbach, Rudolph Logistik, Gebrüder Weiss, Österreichische Post, and XXL Sports & Outdoor.
The sold logistics hall, Alpha 1, is one of several transactions between DLH and DEKA. With this acquisition, DEKA now owns Austria’s largest logistics park in Enzersdorf an der Fischa, located approximately five kilometers south of Vienna Airport.
Stefan Artner, partner and head of the DORDA real estate team, expressed his satisfaction with the successful transaction: "We are delighted that our long-standing client DLH has placed its trust in the DORDA team and our extensive experience in the transaction sector." The DORDA team also included Vivien Lux and Philipp Proske, associates in real estate and construction law.
Christian Vogt, Managing Director of DLH Austria, highlighted the importance of sustainability in the project: "Sustainability played a key role in the development and construction. The building is heated with a sustainable wood chip system, equipped with a photovoltaic system, and has achieved ÖGNI Gold certification."
