Patricia Backhausen joined DORDA in 2019 and is a Principal Associate in DORDA's M&A team. She is also co-head of DORDA's Digital Industries Group, a role that she assumed in 2020 due to her experience in tech-related M&A transactions. Patricia regularly advises in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, venture capital financing rounds and private equity transactions. Her practice also focuses on infrastructure projects, in particular, in projects involving the FTTH (Fibre-to-the-Home) expansion or the energy sector.
Before joining DORDA, Patricia gained experience in several renowned law firms in Austria and London, including Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr as well as DMH Stallard LLP.
Patricia is also an author of the legal column in one of Austria's largest daily newspapers (KURIER Tageszeitung), where she regularly publishes articles in relation to her focus areas.
